KARACHI: The UAE players who are participating in the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) have been immediately recalled by the Emirates Cricket Board.
According to sources, two UAE players, Khuzaima Bin Tanveer and Muhammad Wasim, who are part of the Karachi Kings squad, have left for their homeland. Both players were summoned by the Emirates board.
Sources say that these players have been instructed to participate in the UAE’s domestic tournament ‘D50’.
According to reports, Khuzaima Bin Tanveer and Muhammad Wasim may be eligible to rejoin the Karachi Kings after playing two matches.
It should be noted that the Karachi Kings’ next match will be played against Peshawar Zalmi on April 9 in Karachi, before which the unavailability of players may become a challenge for the team.
Pakistani fast bowler Naseem Shah has been declared unavailable from the current Pakistan Super League (PSL) due to an injury.
This announcement came from his Franchise, the Rawalpindi Pindiz. The management said that the pacer will not be available in the coming matches due to the injury he sustained.
This comes as a big blow to Naseem Shah’s team since he is one of their best bowlers. He had performed very well in the past matches.
Rawalpindi Pindez management says that fast bowler Naseem Shah suffered a side injury against Karachi Kings. Due to the injury, Naseem Shah has been ruled out of the team indefinitely.
Team management says that the team’s medical staff is monitoring the fast bowler’s recovery. It is hoped that Naseem Shah will be able to return in the final stages of the tournament after rehab and fitness clearance.
Rawalpindi Pindiz management says that they stand by Naseem Shah and continue to fully support him.
