ISLAMABAD: It has been decided not to include fast bowler Haris Rauf in Pakistan’s 15-member squad for the ICC T20 World Cup.
According to media reports, since the Asia Cup final, national team head coach Mike Hesson has not been in favor of Haris Rauf’s inclusion in the team. That is why he has been kept out of the possible World Cup squad.
It should be noted that Haris Rauf has not played any T20 International match for Pakistan after the Asia Cup. He is currently busy in the Big Bash League in Australia.
Sources say that the team management is giving priority to young and regular bowlers, on the basis of which the final squad is being formed.
