Rain, snow forecast across Pakistan; Lahore remains cold & polluted

ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has predicted rain and snowfall in different parts of the country.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is likely to remain cold in Islamabad and its surroundings, while the weather will remain cold and dry in most districts of Balochistan.

The weather is expected to remain cold and dry in most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with rain likely in Chitral, Swat, Dir, Kohistan and Abbottabad.

The cold continues to prevail in Lahore city, with the minimum temperature recorded at 7 degrees Celsius in the early morning, while the maximum temperature in the city can be recorded at 20 degrees Celsius.

Lahore ranks first in the list of the most polluted cities in the world in terms of air pollution, with an overall air quality index of 565 recorded in the city.
