SYLHET: A tense moment unfolded on the fourth day of the second Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh in Sylhet when Mohammad Rizwan and Liton Das were involved in a heated verbal exchange on the field.

According to reports, the incident took place while Rizwan was batting and signaled to a member of the ground staff standing near the sight screen to move away.

Liton Das reportedly objected to Rizwan’s gesture and questioned him, which led to a brief argument between the two wicketkeeper-batters.

Sources said Rizwan pointed toward the sight screen area and explained that someone was standing in front, while Liton responded sarcastically during the exchange.

The situation became tense for a short period before on-field umpires stepped in to calm both players and resume play.

The incident quickly drew attention on social media, with cricket fans discussing the exchange during the ongoing Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh in Sylhet.
