ICC tasks Deputy Chairman Imran Khawaja with talks over Pak-India match

DUBAI: ICC’s concern has increased over Pakistan’s refusal to play a match with India in the T20 World Cup.

Cricket’s global governing body is also worried about Pakistan’s decision, the ICC has started efforts to convince Pakistan.

Indian media says that the ICC will hold back-channel talks with Pakistan on the issue of the T20 World Cup, and the ICC has entrusted Deputy Chairman Imran Khawaja with the responsibility of back-channel talks on this issue.

Imran Khawaja will talk to the PCB regarding the T20 World Cup, Imran Khawaja represents the Singapore Cricket Association and has been entrusted with the responsibility of persuading the Pakistan Cricket Board to play.

According to Indian media, Imran Khawaja has been asked to play the role of the peacemaker in the current situation.
