DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has published its annual ranking of ODI teams, and India continues to be the leader with 118 rating points.
As per ICC rankings, New Zealand is currently ranked second with 113 points, followed by Australia in third position with 109 points.
South Africa has managed to gain some ground on their rankings by jumping from the fifth spot to the fourth spot with 102 points, leaving Pakistan behind it with only 98 points.
The rankings of Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, England, and Bangladesh are sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth, respectively, while the West Indies are at the tenth spot.
According to the ICC, the top eight teams would automatically qualify for the next World Cup in 2027. However, it should be noted that both South Africa and Zimbabwe have qualified for the tournament as hosts.

World champions India have maintained their first position, losing one point in their annual ranking points. England is second, Australia third, and New Zealand fourth. South Africa fifth, Pakistan sixth, and the West Indies seventh.
Sri Lanka has moved from 8th to 9th after a drop of 6 points. Bangladesh has moved up one point to 8th. Afghanistan is 10th, Zimbabwe and Ireland are 11th and 12th, respectively.
There is no change in the top 10 positions in the ICC Women’s T20 annual team rankings.
Australia retains its first position in the ICC Women’s team annual rankings. England is second, India third, New Zealand fourth, and South Africa fifth. West Indies sixth, Sri Lanka seventh, and Pakistan eighth.
