“I am humbled by the nomination as the chairman of the International Cricket Council,” Shah said.
“I am committed to working with the ICC team and our member countries to make cricket more universal. We stand at a critical juncture where balancing the coexistence of multiple formats, adopting new technologies Promoting, and introducing our marquee events to new global markets is increasingly important. We aim to make cricket more inclusive and popular than ever before.
He added, “While we will build on the valuable lessons learned, we must also embrace new thinking and innovation to grow the love for cricket around the world. The inclusion represents a turning point for the development of cricket, and I believe it will take the game forward in unprecedented ways.
