Lahore, Peshawar renew PSL contracts for another 10 years

LAHORE: Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi have renewed their contracts with the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for another 10 years.

Lahore Qalandars have renewed their contracts after EY’s valuation.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has said that the renewal of the contract by Lahore Qalandars is proof of confidence in the PSL.

CEO PSL Salman Naseer says that the PSL will increase to 8 teams from the 11th edition next year.

Salman Naseer says that the passion and energy of Lahore Qalandars are the hallmark of PSL. The talent nursery of Qalandars has given new blood to Pakistan cricket.

On the other hand, Peshawar Zalmi has also renewed its franchise agreement with PSL for 10 years.

The ownership of Peshawar Zalmi will remain with the current owners for the next decade. Peshawar Zalmi has renewed the contract after EY’s valuation.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi says that under the leadership of Javed Afridi, Zalmi has become the most popular franchise in Pakistan.
