Marnus Labuschagne to lead Hyderabad Kingsmen in PSL 11

LAHORE: Australian cricketer Marnus Labuschagne has been appointed as the captain of the new franchise Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 11.

The franchise announced the appointment through its official social media accounts.

A 26-second video was also shared in this regard, which showed a private jet flying over Hyderabad, and leaflets were dropped during the flight that read ‘Marnus Labuschagne has been appointed captain’.

Marnus Labuschagne joined the franchise through a direct signing, which was done before the PSL draft. However, the financial details of the deal have not been disclosed yet. The Pakistan Super League season 11 will run from March 26 to May 3.

Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen will start their campaign against Lahore Qalandars in the first match, which will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on March 26.
