NIGERIA: According to foreign media, the Nigeria Football Federation confirmed the death of former footballer Michael Eniramo Dostana, saying that 40-year-old Michael Eniramo was playing a match in the Ungwan Yola area of ​​Kaduna on Friday morning when he suddenly collapsed.

According to initial reports, the incident occurred a few minutes into the second half of the match. Medical assistance was attempted, but he could not be revived. Doctors initially attributed his death to a heart attack.

Michael Eniramo had represented various clubs in Africa, Europe and the Middle East in his career. He also played 10 international matches for the Nigerian national team, the “Super Eagles”.

He was well known for his powerful physique and aggressive style of play and was also known by fans as “The Tank”.
