LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the arrival of the Bangladesh Cricket Team for three T20 Internationals, according to media reports.

The series initially consisted of five T20Is that were to be played in Faisalabad and Lahore, but now all the matches are scheduled in the Gaddafi Stadium.

Cricket fans are immensely disheartened after it was reported that Faisalabad will not be hosting an international match after months of anticipation.

The series is likely to begin from June 1; however, the reason for timing the series is still not clear. The other two matches are likely to be scheduled for June 3 and June 5, 2025.

PCB has still not announced the squad for the series, however, media reports suggest that emerging players will be given the opportunity in this series.

Stars like Muhammad Rizwan, Babar Azam, and Shaheen Shah Afridi will be rested for the series.

Earlier, the Bangladesh government granted permission to their national cricket team to travel to Pakistan for the T20I series, according to media reports.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board had requested their government for approval the travelling following the Pakistan-India standoff.
