LAHORE: Pakistan defeated Australia by 90 runs in the second match of the 3-match T20 series to take a decisive 0-2 lead in the series.
In the match played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha won the toss and decided to bat first.
Pakistan scored 198 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Salman Agha was outstanding by scoring 76 runs.
In reply, the Australian team was bowled out for 108 runs in the 16th over.
Three changes were made in Pakistan’s playing XI for the second T20 match.
Usman Tariq, Faheem Ashraf and Naseem Shah have been included in the playing XI, while Shaheen Shah Afridi, Salman Mirza and Fakhar Zaman have been rested.
