RAWALPINDI: The squad of the Pakistani team for the first Test match against South Africa has been revealed.
The first Test match between the two teams will be played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, from October 12 to October 16.
The players will participate in a training session at Gaddafi Stadium today.
The Pakistan team management is considering the playing XI for the first Test match (Pak vs South Africa), possibly going with 2 regular fast bowlers and 2 spinners in the first Test.
According to sources, interim head coach Azhar Mahmood is impressed with the bowling of spinner Asif Afridi and is in favor of making his debut.
The possible players against South Africa include the names of Abdullah Shafiq, Imam-ul-Haq, Shan Masood, Babar Azam, Saud Shakeel, Muhammad Rizwan, Salman Ali Agha, Sajid Khan, Shaheen Afridi, Noman Ali, and Khurram Shahzad.
Tickets for the series between Pakistan and South Africa are available for sale.
According to the Press release from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), online tickets will be available on the PCB website from 5 pm today.
There will be free entry to general, first class, premium, and VIP enclosures for the Lahore and Rawalpindi Test matches, as per the release.
Physical tickets for the Lahore and Rawalpindi Tests will be available at TCS Express centers from October 8.
Tickets for the T20 International and One Day International series will be available from October 16. Five tickets can be purchased on one identity card.
The minimum ticket price for T20 International matches is Rs 400.
Three One Day International matches will be held in Faisalabad on November 4, 6, and 8.
Tickets for the general enclosure in Faisalabad will start at Rs 400, while VIP tickets will be available for Rs 3,000.
