Pakistan outplay South Korea 4-0 in Azlan Shah Cup

IPOH: Pakistan outclassed Korea 4-0 in the Azlan Shah Cup on Sunday in Iphon, Malaysia.

In the first quarter, Pakistan started the game with the first goal scored by Hanan Shahid in the 12th minute leading the scoreline. during the second quarter, Pakistan managed to bag two more goals while Korea failed to pass the ball from the Pakistani goalkeeper.

Pakistan’s opening match star, Sufyan Khan scored the last goal of the game guiding the green shirts to a historic 4-0 victory against Korea.

Pakistan’s national hockey team made a triumphant start to the tournament on Saturday, defeating hosts Malaysia by 5-4 in a thrilling match.

Green Shirts’ next match is scheduled against Japan on May 7.

The 30th edition of the prestigious field hockey tournament is being played in Ipoh, Malaysia from 4-11 May. The cup will be contested between six teams, namely Canada, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Korea.
