DUBAI: Pakistan has expressed its support for playing India in the T20 World Cup.
The International Cricket Council said that the talks with the PCB were part of a broader communication process, with both sides committed to working in the interest of the game.
The ICC made it clear that all member nations will honour their commitments to the events and take all necessary steps to make the T20 World Cup a success.
The ICC statement said that all members will jointly make every effort to make the event a success.
The ICC also reiterated its commitment to continue supporting the development of Bangladesh’s 200 million-plus cricket market.
The statement said that even if it does not participate in the T20 World Cup, it will not be allowed to have a long-term negative impact on Bangladesh cricket.
