ISLAMABAD: The schedule for the Pakistan-Australia T20 series has been revealed.
The PCB has confirmed Australia’s tour of Pakistan at the end of January. Three T20 matches will be played between the two teams.
All three matches will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, the first match will be held on January 29, the second match on January 31, and the third match on February 1.
The toss of the matches will be held at 5:30 pm and the start will be at 6 pm. The Australian cricket team will arrive in Lahore on Wednesday, January 28.
This series is very important for both teams before the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 next month. Pakistan is in Group A of the World Cup while Australia is in Group B.
This will be Australia’s third tour of Pakistan since March 2022. In 2022, Australia played a Test series, three ODIs and a T20 match in Pakistan.
Australia also played three matches of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan. Chief Operating Officer PBB Syed Sameer Ahmed said that we are excited to host Australia for a series of three T20 matches.
He said that this series will be a great start to the year for Pakistani cricket fans. Since March 2022, the Australian team has played one Test, five ODIs and one T20 match at the Gaddafi Stadium, so this ground has become familiar to them.
