Pak vs SL: Pakistan wins toss against Sri Lanka in T20 series opener

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has won the toss against Sri Lanka in the T20 series and has opted to bowl first.

Pakistan and Sri Lanka have played 27 T20I matches, with the Green Shirts winning 16 of them.

Pakistani team captain Salman Ali Agha has expressed the team’s high morale for the series against Sri Lanka.

During a press conference in Dambulla, Sri Lanka, he said that the players will try their best to perform well and hope that the results will also be positive.

The captain added that it will be useful for the team to get used to the weather and match conditions of Sri Lanka before the World Cup.

The 3-match T20I series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played in Dambulla on January 7, 9, and 11.
