Pakistan women set to face India on Oct 5 in ICC ODI World Cup clash

ISLAMABAD: After the clash between Pakistan and India in the Asia Cup, the women’s cricket teams of both countries will now try their luck.

The clash between the two will be on October 5 during the ICC Women’s One-Day World Cup in Colombo.

The tournament is starting from September 30, for which preparations are underway in full swing.

The national women’s team will leave for Sri Lanka on Tuesday to participate in the World Cup.

The first match of the Pakistan women’s team in the tournament will be against Bangladesh on October 2, while the match against arch-rivals India is scheduled for October 5.

After this, Pakistan will take on Australia on October 8, England on October 15, New Zealand on October 18 and South Africa on October 21, while the last match of the event will be against the host Sri Lanka on October 24.

All the matches will be played in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka. Cricket fans hope that the Pakistani women’s team will perform well this time, especially in the important match against India.

The women’s team is currently playing a series against the South African women’s team in Lahore, with the visiting team having won the opening two matches. The final match of the series is being played today.
