Pakistani golfers secures titles at Kazakhstan Junior Open Golf Championship 2025

ALMATY: Pakistan’s Mahad Khan and Sara Amin Khan won the boys’ and girls’ titles at the Kazakhstan Junior Open Golf Championship 2025.

According to reports, the rising golf stars who were crowned champions put in a historic performance at the Kazakhstan Junior Open Golf Championship 2025 held at Ziljaw Golf Club, Almaty.

Mahad Khan won the boys and Sara Amin Khan won the girls’ category. In the boys’ event, Mahad Khan left the others behind by showing exceptional skill and consistency. Zaid Umar Arshad, also hailing from Pakistan, was the runner-up in the final.

Mahad Khan also won the longest drive award, while Zaid Umar Arshad played the closest shot to the pin.

In the girls’ event, Sara Amin Khan showed her superiority and won the winning trophy. Her triumph was hailed as a landmark success for Pakistan’s women’s golf scene, pushing young girls to pursue the sport competitively.

The Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF) sent sincere congratulations to the whole squad. Both the PGF President and Secretary complimented the athletes for their hard work, dedication, and tenacity, describing the championship triumphs as a “beautiful gift for the nation on Independence Day.”

“This victory not only celebrates individual excellence but also marks a proud moment for Pakistan in international sports,” the statement reads.
