ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has taken a unique initiative to pay tribute to the services of national cricketers who have made the country famous.

According to reports, the PCB has decorated the wall of the media center with stunning black and white photos of legendary players.

The move is aimed at remembering these great cricketers and inspiring the younger generation with their achievements.

The wall features pictures of Pakistan’s cricket icons, including Sarfaraz Ahmed, who led the team to victory in the 2017 Champions Trophy. A group photo of the victorious squad celebrating this historic victory is also displayed.

In women’s cricket, Kiran Baloch’s picture stands out. She holds the record for the highest individual score in a Test match by a Pakistani woman, scoring 242 runs, which is a historic feat in women’s cricket worldwide.

The wall also features photographs of former Test captains and record-breaking players, such as Jalaluddin, who took the first hat-trick in ODI cricket, and achieved many memorable victories for Pakistan.

The PCB spokesperson said that this initiative is a tribute to the cricketers who have made Pakistan famous on the world stage.

He added that these photographs not only remind us of past achievements but also inspire the younger generation to follow in the footsteps of their heroes and achieve greatness for the country.
