GLADIATORS’ INNINGS

Quetta Gladiators posted a formidable 217-run target for Peshawar Zalmi in the second match held on Saturday at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi on Saturday.

Peshawar Zalmi had won the toss and elected to field first, placing the Gladiators at the crease. The decision appeared costly as the Gladiators’ batting line-up delivered a resounding performance.

From the Gladiators’ camp, middle-order batter Saud Shakeel and opener Finn Allen emerged as the standout performers.

Shakeel amassed 59 runs with precision and composure, while Allen added 53 to the total with aggressive stroke play.

Both contributed significantly towards the team’s total, strengthening their position in the early overs.

Moreover, Gladiators batter Hassan Nawaz showcased his prowess by adding 41 crucial runs.

His innings ensured the Gladiators surpassed the 200-run mark and closed their innings at 216.

Meanwhile, another fixture has been scheduled later tonight at 8 PM. Karachi Kings will lock horns with Multan Sultans at the National Stadium in Karachi.
