RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Traffic Police have issued a comprehensive alternate traffic plan for the practice sessions and the Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh, being played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from August 21 to August 25.
The traffic plan would be followed from August 18 to 25 to facilitate traffic plying with Rawalpindi city and between twin cities, the CTP spokesman said.
According to the City Traffic Police, during the five-day test match, Murree Road will be closed from Faizabad to Double Road at the time of arrival and departure of the teams. Meanwhile, the Double Road would remain completely closed to all kinds of traffic from August 18 to 25.
