LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that an inauguration ceremony for the newly revamped Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will be held tomorrow.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi announced on social media that the ceremony will kick off at 7 pm and the entry for the public will be free of cost.

The event will feature live musical performances by renowned artists Ali Zafar, Arif Lohar, and Aima Baig. It will also include a spectacular display of drums, fireworks, and a light show, making it a grand celebration for all attendees.

Furthermore, the PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi will also host a dinner in honour of workers involved in the venue’s comprehensive upgrade work spanning over multiple months tomorrow.

PCB chief expressed his gratitude to the workers, who worked day and night to complete the construction in a record time of 4 months, according to the PCB.

He said, “I sincerely thank the workers for making the impossible task possible. Despite criticism, the entire team worked tirelessly.”

The development comes as Naqvi, during a presser last month, had announced the inauguration of Gaddafi Stadium and Karachi’s National Stadium on February 7 and 11, respectively.
