‘Sadi Vari Oye’; PCB releases anthem ahead of T20 World Cup 2024 [WATCH]

LAHORE: Ahead of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released its anthem for the marquee event, scheduled to be kicked off today and will be played in USA and West Indies from till June 29, 2024.

 This year’s World Cup anthem “Sadi Vari Oye” was attributed to the Pakistan Cricket Team fans and aims to unite and inspire the team as they strive for victory.

In a statement on X, PCB said, This anthem is a tribute to our fans who cheer for the Pakistan team through every triumph and challenge. “Let’s unite, celebrate, and fuel our team’s journey to conquer the world. Pakistan Zindabad!”

The anthem, titled ‘Sadi Vari Oyewritten by Farhan Zameer, Nehaal Naseem, Tehseen W. Chishty, Arif Lohar, and Khwaja Faheem was sung by renowned singers Ali Azmat, Arif Lohar, and Nehaal Naseem.

As the World Cup starts today with an opening match between the co-host United States and Canada, Pakistan will wait till June 6 for its opening game against the USA on June 6 in Dallas, Texas.
