The Salman Ali Agha captaincy decision has become a major topic after Pakistan’s exit from the ICC T20 World Cup. The Pakistan captain accepted full responsibility for the team’s failure.

Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka in their final Super Eight match. However, the win was not enough to reach the semi-finals. As a result, questions were raised about the team’s overall performance.

Speaking after the match, Salman Ali Agha said he takes complete responsibility as captain. He explained that all key decisions were made after consultation with the coach. He also confirmed that the selection process and playing XI were decided together.

The Salman Ali Agha captaincy decision is still pending. When asked about stepping down, he said it would not be wise to make an emotional decision immediately after the loss.

He added that the team did not perform well under pressure. According to him, except for Sahibzada Farhan, the batting unit failed to meet expectations in crucial matches.

Salman Ali Agha said a final decision about his captaincy will be made after returning home. He plans to consult with officials and announce the outcome within two to four days.

The Salman Ali Agha captaincy decision will likely shape the future direction of Pakistan cricket in the coming weeks.
