RAWALPINDI: Sri Lanka has won its first match of the tri-nation series by defeating Zimbabwe by 9 wickets.
According to the details, Sri Lanka achieved the target of 147 runs set by Zimbabwe in 16.2 overs for the loss of just one wicket.
Patham Nissanka played an unbeaten innings of 98 runs but could not score a century. Along with him, Kamal Mishra scored 12, and Kusal Mendis scored 25 runs.
Earlier, Zimbabwe won the toss and decided to bat and gave Sri Lanka a target of 146 runs to win, in which Sikandar Raza and Ryan Burrell played an innings of 37 runs each, while Brian Bennett scored 34 runs.
