DUBAI: Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav has made it clear that he does not want to receive the trophy from Mohsin Naqvi’s hands if he wins the Asia Cup.

This message from Suryakumar Yadav has been conveyed to the Asian Cricket Council by the Indian team management.

It should be noted that Mohsin Naqvi is the chairman of the PCB as well as the current chairman of the Asian Cricket Council.

On the other hand, the PCB has written another letter to the ICC regarding the change of the match referee.

The PCB has reiterated its principled demand for the removal of match referee Andy Pycroft, after which doubts remain over the holding of the match scheduled between Pakistan and the UAE today.

Sources say that the PCB is committed to boycotting the remaining matches of the Asia Cup if Andy Pycroft is not removed.

Sources say that the PCB has also declared the ICC inquiry against the controversial referee as a formal action. Not all aspects were examined for the inquiry, and no relevant people were contacted.
