Thrilling 3-3 draw between Pakistan and India in Sultan Johar Cup

KULA LAMPUR: The match between the junior teams of Pakistan and India in the ongoing Sultan of Johor Hockey Cup in Malaysia ended in a 3-3 draw.

Sufyan Khan scored 2 goals, and Hanan Shahid scored one goal for Pakistan.

The match between Pakistan and India in Johor Baru started at a fast pace. In the fourth minute, Pakistan got a penalty stroke, which was scored by captain Hanan Shahid.

The first quarter ended at 0-1, and neither team could score a goal in the second quarter.

The game picked up speed in the third quarter. Pakistan’s Sufyan Khan converted a penalty corner goal in the 38th minute and made the score 0-2.

India got a penalty stroke just 4 minutes later, on which Handal Arjit Singh reduced the deficit. The third quarter ended with Pakistan leading 1-2.

In the fourth and final quarter, the Indian team tied the match first, after which Manmeet Singh of India scored in the 52nd minute to give his team a 2-3 lead.

However, just 3 minutes later, Sufyan Khan scored a beautiful goal to tie the match, and the match ended in a 3-3 draw at the scheduled time.

It should be noted that the Pakistan team will play a match against New Zealand tomorrow.
