DUBAI: Pakistan U19 team triumphed over India by 44 runs in the third match of the U19 Asia Cup, thanks to a brilliant 159 from Shahzaib Khan and a resilient 60 from Usman Khan.
Pakistan posted 281/7, with Shahzaib hitting 5 boundaries and 10 sixes in his 147-ball knock, while Usman added six boundaries in his 94-ball innings.
In reply, India was bowled out for 238 in 47.4 overs. Nikhil Kumar top-scored with 67 off 77 balls, while Mohamed Enaan contributed 30 off 22 balls before being run out.
Pakistan’s bowlers excelled, (1-56), and Saad Baig (1-31) each contributing with a wicket. For India, Samarth Nagaraj (3-45) and Ayush Mhatre (2-30) were the leading bowlers, but it wasn’t enough to stop Pakistan from clinching a comfortable victory.
