ISLAMABAD: Tournament co-host United States will take on Canada today in the opening match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, Texas in the US.
A highly-anticipated 20-team event is all set to make its debut in the United States of America later today, scheduled to be played in the USA and West Indies from June 1 to 29, 2024.
Monank Patel will lead the World Cup debutant USA while Canada will land in the middle under the leadership of Saad Bin Zafar for cricket’s oldest rivalry.
The first-ever international cricket was between these two sides in 1844 at the St George’s Cricket Club in New York.
The high-voltage clash between Pakistan and India (Pak vs Ind) group-stage match is only a few days away as New York City is all set to host the biggest cricketing carnival of the year.
