4G & 3G mobile data users facing WhatsApp disruption in Pakistan: Here’s why

LAHORE: Mobile phone data users in Pakistan are facing disruptions on WhatsApp, the widely used mobile messaging app for smartphones such as iPhone and Android phones, it was revealed on Saturday.

As per the details, reports claim that 4G and 3G users are facing problems in sharing notes, photos and documents to other WhatsApp users.

Customers have been facing disruption since yesterday, he said, adding that the companies are yet to issue any statement in this regard.

On the other hand, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) said that it has not received any complaint in this regard.

It said he was looking into the matter after it was highlighted by the media.

Downdetector has also received complaints about WhatsApp outages, most of which were reported at 11:00 am today.
