The Oppo A6k has been officially launched by Oppo in China. The new device targets budget users and focuses mainly on long battery life and smooth performance. It is designed for people who need a reliable phone for daily use at an affordable price.

The Oppo A6k features a large 6.75-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution. While the resolution is modest, the phone offers a 120Hz refresh rate. This ensures smooth scrolling and better user experience. It also supports a 240Hz touch sampling rate, making interactions faster and more responsive.

The display can reach up to 900 nits of brightness, with a peak of 1125 nits. This helps improve visibility outdoors. The phone is available in three colors: Dawn Gold, Twilight Blue, and Seashell White.

Under the hood, the Oppo A6k is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. It comes with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. This combination is suitable for everyday tasks like calling, messaging, browsing, and video streaming. It can also handle light gaming.

Benchmark scores show decent performance for its category. The device scores around 530,000 on AnTuTu and delivers stable results on Geekbench. For security, the phone includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

In terms of cameras, the Oppo A6k offers a 50MP main camera along with a 2MP monochrome sensor. On the front, it features an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls.

The biggest highlight of the Oppo A6k is its powerful 7,000mAh battery. This large battery is expected to last more than a full day on a single charge. It may even extend into a second day depending on usage.

The device supports 45W SuperVOOC fast charging. It is also compatible with UFCS and other charging standards.

The Oppo A6k is available in multiple variants in China. The 8GB + 256GB model is priced at $290. The 8GB + 512GB version costs $319, while the 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at $348.
