WhatsApp introduces new features including missed call notifications
CALIFORNIA: Globally popular messaging app WhatsApp has announced several new features to make communication and interaction in calls, chats, and statuses easier and more interesting for its users.
According to the details, WhatsApp has introduced the feature of missed call notes, through which if a user’s voice or video call is not answered, the caller can send an audio or video note directly in the chat.
According to WhatsApp, users can listen to and view the note with a single tap, which will reduce the need for traditional voicemail.
In addition, new changes have also been added to voice and group calls.
A spotlight feature will now be available in group video calls to highlight the speaker, while users will be able to use reactions to express their opinions and impressions.
WhatsApp has also introduced new interactive stickers in the status section, which include music lines, questions and interesting designs, which will allow users to express their thoughts and interactions in a more effective way in status.
Additionally, users can enhance the quality of images and convert them into short videos through an upgrade to Meta AI image generation tools.
The desktop version has added a new Media tab, which will help you easily find and organize shared media, links, and documents across all chats, while link previews have also been improved.
