Rain and snowfall expected across northern regions

ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has predicted rain and snowfall in different parts of the country from January 31 to February 3.

According to the Meteorological Department, rain and snowfall are expected in northern Balochistan and northern areas during the next few days.

During this time, rain and snowfall have also been predicted in various areas of Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

It has been further informed that rain may occur in Islamabad and the Potohar region from February 1 to 3, while rain is also expected in Punjab, Murree and Galiyat.

The Meteorological Department has warned that during this period, there will be a risk of landslides in the mountainous areas of upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
