Islamabad weather forecast: PMD predicts heavy rainfall, gusty winds

ISLAMABAD: Rainy weather with wind and thunderstorms is expected in Islamabad today, as per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD). The citizens of Islamabad enjoyed drizzle in the morning making the weather pleasant.

Heavy rainfall, particularly during the night, is forecasted for the capital. The temperature is anticipated to reach 34 degrees Celsius with a humidity level of 62 percent.

Additionally, the wind is blowing in the southwest direction at the speed of 10 km/h, whereas the chances of precipitation are up to 3%.

Monsoon winds from the Arabian Sea are affecting the southern and eastern parts of Pakistan, while a westerly disturbance is influencing the northern regions.

Moreover, rainfall is expected to continue for the next three days, with heavy showers possible in isolated areas of upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, and the Pothwar region.
