ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi has inaugurated the construction of a modern 100-bed international hospital in Islamabad.
This project, a partnership between the National Police Foundation (NPF) and a Turkish company, aims to transform healthcare services for police officers and the public. The NPF has provided the land, while a Turkish firm is contributing Rs5 billion for the construction.
In addition, Naqvi described the project as a major advancement in regional healthcare and a significant milestone for the revitalized NPF under Sabir Ahmed’s leadership.
He noted that funds from this and other NPF initiatives are being directed toward the welfare of police officers and the families of fallen officers.
The Minister also mentioned upcoming joint projects between the NPF and the Capital Development Authority, with discussions already in progress.
He added that the NPF’s efforts extend beyond Islamabad, citing a completed housing project in Hyderabad and ongoing renovations at the National Police Academy.
