Karachi weather update: Pleasant weather expected in port city

KARACHI: The Paki­stan Meteorological Depart­ment (PMD) has predicted hot and dry weather in most districts of the Sindh province during the next 24 hours. However, a partly cloudy sky is predicted for Ka­rachi which will make the weather comparatively pleasant.

Today, Karachi experienced mainly dry weather, with temperatures ranging from 33°C to 26°C. However, the city will witness more sunshine, leading to a rise in temperatures. The humidity in the city varies up to 47% and the air is moving in the northwest direction at the speed of  16 km/h.

According to the PMD’s latest weather forecast, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and North/South Balochistan are likely to experience rain with strong winds/gusty winds and thundershowers. While the weather is expected to remain dry in other parts of the country

Residents of Karachi are advised to take necessary precautions to stay safe during this period, such as staying hydrated, avoiding outdoor activities during peak sun hours, and using protective gear like hats and sunglasses.
