Lahore weather: PMD predicts light rain in provincial capital

LAHORE: Light rain and strong winds are forecast in some areas of Lahore and Punjab, here on Wednesday.

As per the details, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said a westerly wave is affecting northern Pakistan.

The weather will remain cold and dry in most areas on Monday night. Light rain with thundershowers is possible in Attock, Rawalpindi and Jhelum. Cloudy weather with light rain or snowfall is possible in Murree and Galiat.

The weather will remain cold and dry in most areas of Punjab. Clouds and light drizzle or wind are possible at a few places in Lahore, Sialkot, Attock, Rawalpindi and Jhelum. More light rain or snowfall is possible in Murree and Galiat.

The temperature in Lahore is expected to be between 9 and 11 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and 8 to 10 degrees Celsius on Wednesday.

The weather remained cold and dry in most areas of Lahore and Punjab during the last 24 hours. Murree was the coldest place where the temperature was 1 degree Celsius. The minimum temperature in Lahore was 10 degrees Celsius and the humidity in the air was 38 percent in the evening.
