ISLMAMBAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has released its weather forecast for Islamabad and its surrounding areas for Thursday, February 13, 2025.
According to the PMD, Islamabad will experience predominantly sunny and cold weather over the next two days, with dry conditions prevailing across the region. Gusty winds are also expected in and around Islamabad during this period, contributing to the chilly atmosphere.
The forecast indicates that Islamabad will continue to witness cold and dry weather, with temperatures expected to remain low, especially during nighttime and early morning hours. The presence of continental air over most parts of the country will influence Islamabad’s weather patterns, maintaining clear skies and brisk winds. Residents of Islamabad are advised to dress warmly, particularly in the early hours and after sunset when temperatures are expected to drop further.
On a broader scale, the PMD reports that the weather across Pakistan will largely remain dry and cold. Northern regions, including mountainous areas, will experience extremely cold temperatures during nighttime and early morning. The prevailing continental air system will keep most of the country under stable weather conditions, with minimal chances of rain.
