LAHORE: The citizens of the provincial capital are witnessing cold wave in the provincial capital. The weather is likely to remain dry, while there is no potential chance of rain causing dense layer of fog in the city.
According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in the city is likely to be 08 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature may reach 16 degrees Celsius. The humidity level in the air was recorded above 73%.
According to the Met Office, The weather is likely to remain cold and partly cloudy in most parts of the country. However, light rain/snowfall is likely at a few places in North Balochistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Light rain and light snowfall are also likely in Murree, Galliyat, Islamabad and Potohar region. Moderate to heavy fog is expected in most plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh.
The weather is expected to be cold and dry in most parts of the country, while it is likely to be extremely cold at night in mountainous areas.
