ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD)has released its weather forecast for Friday, which predicts that most parts of Pakistan will experience dry conditions throughout the day.
The Met Office said PMD forecasts mostly dry weather in Pakistan for most regions. The weather forecast predicts scattered rain along with strong winds and thunderstorms, which will affect specific areas located in the north and southwest regions.
The afternoon will bring hailstorms to certain locations. Islamabad and its surrounding areas will experience uninterrupted dry weather. The evening will bring partial cloud cover. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will experience dry weather conditions in most of its districts. Areas such as Kohat, Hangu, Bannu, Karak Tank, Kurram, Dera Ismail Khan, Lakki Marwat, and Waziristan will experience isolated thunderstorms with strong winds.
Some places may also see hailstorms. Punjab will also stay mostly dry. The weather forecast predicts isolated thunderstorms for Bhakkar, Layyah, Jhang, Khanewal, Kot Addu, and Dera Ghazi Khan.
Murree and Galiyat will remain dry with partly cloudy weather later in the day. Most districts in Sindh will experience dry weather conditions throughout the day.
Balochistan will experience scattered thunderstorms and hailstorms throughout Zhob, Musakhel, Quetta, Pishin, Ziarat, Barkhan, Turbat, Kech, Gwadar, and their surrounding areas.
Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir will have dry weather with partial cloud cover throughout the day. The PMD cautioned people to remain vigilant because strong winds and hailstorms are expected to occur in certain regions.
