ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has been facing a significant drop in rainfall rate. The prolonged dry weather in Pakistan is causing serious health concerns among the residents.
Prolonged dry weather is also causing severe water shortages in various areas of Pakistan. According to the Water and Sanitization Agency (WASA), twin cities are on the edge of drought.
Additionally, the Rawalpindi authorities have issued a drought warning. If the dry weather persists in Pakistan for the next months the situation will worsen.
But, fortunately, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the latest predictions of rain and snow in the upper parts of the country as a strong westerly weather system has entered Pakistan.
