Cambridge to announce IGCSE, O/A level results tomorrow

ISLAMABAD: Cambridge International Education will announce May-June Cambridge IGCSE, O-level and International AS and A-level results globally, including in Pakistan, on Tuesday, August 13.

The results will be declared at 10 AM Pakistan time and can be accessed on the official Cambridge website.

There were more than 1.6 million entries for Cambridge International Examinations in May-June 2024, representing a 9% increase on the previous year.

As per the media report, more than 100,000 students from 683 schools participated in the Cambridge O Level, IGCSE or International AS and A Level exams.

There were more than 226,000 entries for Cambridge O Levels and IGCSEs, and more than 125,000 entries nationwide for Cambridge International AS and A Levels.

The most popular subjects in Pakistan at Cambridge O Level and IGCSE were Pakistan Studies, Islamic Studies, Mathematics, English Language, and Urdu as a Second Language.

The most popular subjects for Cambridge International AS and A Levels were Physics, Mathematics, Business, Chemistry and Computer Science.

This year, business overtook chemistry in popularity, and computer science replaced economics in the top five.
