Eid-ul-Adha 2026 holidays announced in UAE

ABU DHABI: The Ministry of Education of the UAE has confirmed the mid-term and Eid al-Adha break for students, teachers, and administrative staff, setting the holiday from May 25 to May 29.

Al Bayan reported the announcement after the academic calendar for the remaining school year received approval. The break comes just ahead of final assessments, giving students time to prepare before exams begin.

  • Classes resume: June 1
  • Mock exams: June 15–16
  • Islamic New Year holiday: June 17
  • Final exams: June 24 – July 3
  • Last day of school: July 3

After the break, students will return to school to finish their third semester, which will lead to their end-of-term examinations.

The schedule describes a planned process that students will follow to move from revision to testing through the use of mock exams that assist in preparing for their final assessments.

The academic year will officially conclude on July 3, marking the start of the summer break.
