Explosion at Swiss Resort Bar kills 10, injures 10

ISLAMABAD: 10 people killed and 10 injured in explosion at luxury resort bar in Switzerland.

According to foreign media reports, Swiss police say that a powerful explosion has destroyed a bar in the luxury ski resort of Crans-Montana.

Swiss police officials told a foreign news agency that several people were killed and injured in the explosion, but they did not provide any information about the number of dead and injured or the causes of the explosion.

Later, media reports said that at least 10 people were killed and 10 injured in the explosion at the bar. The injured have been transferred to the hospital for medical treatment.

Police officials said that a powerful explosion occurred at 1:30 am on the night between Wednesday and Thursday in the famous ski resort for tourism. A large number of people celebrating New Year’s Eve were present in the bar at the time of the explosion.
