BAGHDAD: The airspace of Iraq and Syria has been closed due to the recent tense situation between Iran and Israel.

According to NOTAM, Iraq has closed its airspace for 72 hours, after which commercial flights arriving in, departing from, and overflying Iraq have been suspended, while in this regard NOTAM is in effect for 72 hours from Sunday, June 7, 2026.
In addition, due to the ongoing military conflicts in the Middle East, Syria has banned overflying and flights from its airspace at the warning of international aviation authorities.
