Hero father saves son from moving train in Bangladesh

DHAKA: In Bangladesh, a father saved his young son who fell under a moving train, the video of which went viral on social media.

According to a foreign media report, a father risked his life to save his young son at the Bhairab Railway Junction in Bangladesh.

The passenger train was entering platform number one when the husband and wife were standing at the station with the child to board the train.

While boarding the train, the woman’s foot slipped and she fell onto the platform along with the child. Meanwhile, the child slipped from her hand and woke up in the gap between the platform and the train.

In the video, it can be seen that the child’s father jumped onto the track and picked up the child, held him tightly and lay down on the ground himself. At the same time, the train passed near them and both were miraculously safe.

After the train passed, the mother reached her husband and child crying, while the people present there immediately went to them to inquire about their well-being.

The video of the incident went viral on social media and users are calling the father a hero.
