LEBANON: The Lebanese resistance group Hezbollah has launched multiple attacks on Israeli military targets in southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah said in a statement on Telegram that it had targeted an Israeli bulldozer with artillery in the southeastern outskirts of Yahmer al-Shaqif, after which a guided missile was fired at another military bulldozer in the same area.

According to Hezbollah, shells and rockets were also fired at Israeli soldiers and vehicles near Yahmer al-Shaqif and Ainata.

The statement added that an Israeli Hermes 450-Zik drone was targeted with a surface-to-air missile in the Al-Tuffah area, after which the drone had to retreat.

Earlier, Israel carried out an airstrike in the Sidon district of southern Lebanon, killing two people and wounding 10 others.

In addition, the death toll in an Israeli attack near the Red Cross center in the city of Tyre rose to 5. Eight people, including four medical personnel, were injured in the attack.
