NEW DELHI: War-mad India has announced air exercises in Gujarat near the Pakistani border. The Indian Air Force has announced large-scale air exercises in the Kutch region of Gujarat near the Pakistani border and in this regard, it has issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) to close the airspace for international flights from January 20 to January 21 and reserve it for the Indian Air Force exercise.
According to Indian media, Rafale, Sukhoi 30 MKI, Jaguar and other frontline fighter aircraft will participate in these exercises. These exercises will include high-speed flights, aerial combat exercises and possibly live firing or bombing training. Indian media reports also say that the restricted air zone covers the sensitive area of India’s southern border with Pakistan, which includes the Arabian Sea, Sir Creek, Rajkot and areas near Ahmedabad.
