NEW DELHI: Indian media blamed the US for the Tejas aircraft crash.

Former Indian General (retd) Bakshi and TV anchor Arnab Goswami has claimed that the main reason for the crash was the American engine used in the aircraft.

Arnab Goswami said in his program that the delayed delivery of the engine by the US directly affected India’s defense preparations.

According to him, the Tejas aircraft is powered by an engine manufactured by the American company General Electric, the continuous delay in its delivery has created problems.

Arnab Goswami further alleged that the US government created obstacles in the timely delivery of modern engines, due to which India faced difficulties in defense projects.

During the program, General (retd) Bakshi also expressed the same concerns and said that the cause of the crash could be technical flaws related to the aircraft’s engine, which the US did not fix in time.

Arnab Goswami claimed that we had paid one billion dollars in cash to the US, we should have received the engine 2 years ago.

It should be recalled that the Indian fighter jet Tejas crashed during the Dubai Air Show yesterday.
